If you want to make the most money possible online then you absolutely need to diversify your income streams. What do I mean by this? What I mean by diversifying your online income streams is that you need to branch out and make money with more than just one method. For example, you might be making a killing as an affiliate marketer with Clickbank and think you have everything figured out when it comes to promoting Clickbank products and earning commission. But what if everything goes to shit one day and you are out of your only income stream? The smallest of problems can make a huge difference when it comes to making money online and internet marketing which is why you can't just rely on one method of making money.

I know what you might be thinking while reading this. "What the hell is the point of you telling me to diversify my income streams?". "And why should I listen to you?". I'll be honest with you. This post is pretty damn useless if you just read it and move on. But, if you realize after reading this post that you shouldn't get to comfortable with your current campaigns or methods of making money online and make an effort to find more sources of income, then this post can make a difference.
Believe me, striving to find more ways of making money online is worth it in the end. I speak from experience. I like many people starting out making money online came across the method of affiliate marketing. After finally getting through all of the bs and hype that comes along with internet marketing and making money on the internet I eventually got an understanding of the process behind affiliate marketing, and more specifically promoting Clickbank products. I started using a free method of marketing known as "bum marketing" and soon I was making some decent money by promoting Clickbank products. At first, I would only get about 1 or 2 sales a week but with some persistence I was able to work my way up to 1 sale a day and sometimes even 2 sales a day. And things continued to get better and better until boom! One day I just hit a brick wall and the sales literally stopped. The same amount of traffic as before yet for some reason I just wasn't converting.
It turns out that many other people were experiencing this issue as well. And even worse was that it seemed like the problem was on Clickbank's end having to do with tracking issues. I couldn't do a thing about it but work my ass off and hope that things would improve.
Long story short, this experience opened my eyes. It showed me that I should never rely on one system of making money online and that I should always be expanding my options. Don't let yourself make the same mistakes. Learn from mine and start expanding your online sources of income now.
What Are Some Good Online Sources Of Income?
I plan on covering in detail specific ways to make money online in a future post so I will not be covering any particular networks right now but I will give you some good information as to where to get started. Here is a short list of some of the best online sources of income.
- Affiliate marketing is one of the most popular ways of making money online and for good reason. Doing a quick Google search of "affiliate networks" should give you plenty of options to start with. Remember, you don't have to stick with just one affiliate network. There are plenty of huge affiliate networks as well as affiliate programs for individual companies. Do your research and you'll find any type of affiliate program you need.
- CPA networks are also a good place to make some money online. However, most CPA networks aren't as easy to get started with as affiliate networks. If you are a complete noob to making money online then might want to stay away from CPA networks at first.
- Google adsense is a great way to earn some money from your websites or blogs if you have a nice amount of traffic to them. You can make good money with adsense but you need a lot of traffic to do so. It is a very reliable source of income if you can get traffic to your site or blog but you need to put in a lot of hard work if you want to make a nice sized income.
- Selling ad space on your website or blog is another very reliable source of income. If a company or advertiser purchases a block of space on your site then you receive the money right then and there. But as with adsense you need to have a good amount of traffic before you can make a decent amount of money with ad space. Advertisers aren't going to be interested in a site that only gets a few uniques a day.
Now, this aren't the only ways of making money online but these definitely leave you with a lot of options. Just remember to always look for new streams of income and to never rely on just one online income source. If you can do this and are willing to work hard then you will be able to make a lot of money online.

Basically, it is the process of improving or optimizing your website so that people can find your website using search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN. People using search engines to find out more about a particular topic are already going to be interested in what your site has to offer and therefor are more likely to purchase a product, sign up for your newsletter, download your free ebook, etc. If you want to grab prospective buyers by the hand then there is no better way to do it than using SEO and driving organic traffic to your website.
There is really only a few downsides to using search engine optimization in order to get traffic to your website or blog. If you want to top the SERPS (search engine ranking positions) then you are usually going to have to work hard. Getting to the number 1 spot on Google doesn't come easy, especially when you are facing even a little competition. Article marketing is when you write content for article directories such as Ezine Articles in hopes of having readers click through your articles onto your website or blog. Now, you might be thinking, "Why would I write content for another site rather then my own site?". And this is a very valid point. However, if you know how to use article marketing correctly then you will be building your own business rather then the article directories.
The best way to go about article marketing to drive free traffic is to tease the reader. Basically, you will want to grab the readers attention and get at there emotions running in the beginning of the article and only give them a little taste of what they want in the body of the article. This way the reader will be left wanting more and will most likely click the next thing they see offering a solution to their problem. And this is where you will come in with a link to your website or blog.
I'll be honest with you though, article marketing is something that many people get wrong and end up wasting their time with. And just like SEO, I could write many pieces of content on article marketing (and I will in the future) so it is not practical to go in depth right now. But just know that if you can perfect the art of article marketing and are even half decent at writing then you can drive loads of traffic for free using this method.
Post Comments On Other People's Blogs In Your Niche
Another great way to get some free traffic to your website or blog is to post comments on other blogs in your niche. All you'll need to do is a little researching to find blogs that are related to your niche and then post comments on their posts. Posting comments on relative blogs is both a good way to gain backlinks for SEO (if the blog is do-follow) and can even get you a little bit of free traffic from interested readers. If you want to get the most out of getting some traffic from you comments then make sure to actually read what the author of the blog has written and write an interesting post. And most importantly, don't just post some pointless comment like "Good article!" and then link back to your website. If you want traffic and a backlink then actually give some value and don't be a dumbass.
Social Bookmarking
To be honest with you, this type of traffic usually isn't to going to get you anywhere but it is traffic nonetheless. Basically, you'll want to submit your website or blog to social bookmarking sites such as Digg or Stumbleupon. That is really all there is to it. I use social bookmarking on a regular basis just to get an initial surge of traffic and some backlinks but other than that it isn't very useful. However, don't dismiss it. However, just as with article marketing this is something that you will have do just right. You don't want to completely spam with your link but you also don't want to give them everything they need in one shot. So, the best way to go about driving traffic with Yahoo Answers is to give some general insight and then say you've found a helpful website on the topic of discussion (your website). If you keep at it then then you will definitely be able to get a nice amount of traffic initially as well as in the long term.

Starting Fresh With MaxMoneyOnline.net
For the few people that might be following this blog I am very sorry for not updating as often as I had promised but I do have good news. I am going to be putting a lot more effort into this blog and I'm giving it a fresh new start. I've already started with the theme which I think looks a hell of a lot better than my old one. It's the StudioBlue theme from ElegantThemes.com if you're curious. Ok, so back to the topic of starting fresh with this blog. First let me tell you what I've been doing that has kept me so preoccupied and then I'll tell you how I plan to improve this blog as a source for useful making money online and internet marketing information.
My Internet Marketing Projects
The project that has taken up most of my time for the past two weeks is a niche site that I am in the process of building and monetizing. I won't say which niche yet (I'll tell you why later) but will say that I'm working my ass creating unique content for this website and building it's authority. What I wanted to do going into this project was to build up a niche site and focus solely on the authority of the site rather then market individual products within the niche with simple landing pages. I said to myself, "What the hell is the point of creating different websites/blogs every time I want to promote a product?". And that is how I decided to start a real niche site.
So yeah, this is basically what I have been working on over the past few weeks. I know I've been very vague about the project and what steps I am taking but I will tell you why in just a bit. Before I start rambling some more let's move on to the next subject.
The Improvements To MaxMoneyOnline.net
As I've already mentioned the first step I took in improving MaxMoneyOnline was getting a clean new theme. I think it suits the blog well and it gives me more flexibility in the long run so hopefully it's a win for everybody. Apart from the look of this blog I have many new things in store for it. First, I am going to continue to post information regarding the basics to making money online and internet marketing. Why? Because I want to create fresh new content that newbies are looking for and I want to provide useful information for those who are completely new to the world of making money online. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed by trying to make money online as a newbie and I want to try to help anybody starting out by giving them the basics on this blog. In addition to writing content aimed at newbies I will be making the navigation aspect of my site easier for newbies as well. I have added a page dedicated to archiving articles which I have written about making money online and internet marketing so finding more information on any subject should be a breeze.
Now, this blog is not just aimed at newbies. It's aimed at intermediate internet marketers as well. So in order to improve the content of this blog for the internet marketers out there I will be regularly posting anything I find interesting in the world of making money online, news about internet marketing, or any other tips I feel internet marketers could use. But the way in which I will most improve this blog for internet marketers is by documenting any internet marketing projects I am undertaking or any experiments I am trying out. When I come across an internet marketing blog that offers the person's real experiences then I'll stay a while. Real results provide the most useful information for internet marketers in my opinion and following someone's current campaign is a hell of a lot more interesting then the usual "Tips And Tricks For Success Online Posts".
