And things continued to get better and better until boom! One day I just hit a brick wall and the sales literally stopped. It turns out that many other people were experiencing this issue as well. And even worse was that it seemed like the problem was on Clickbank's end having to do with tracking issues. I couldn't do a thing about it but work my ass off and hope that things would improve.

Remember, you don't have to stick with just one affiliate network. There are plenty of huge affiliate networks as well as affiliate programs for individual companies. Do your research and you'll find any type of affiliate program you need.
- CPA networks are also a good place to make some money online. However, most CPA networks aren't as easy to get started with as affiliate networks. If you are a complete noob to making money online then might want to stay away from CPA networks at first.
- Google adsense is a great way to earn some money from your websites or blogs if you have a nice amount of traffic to them. You can make good money with adsense but you need a lot of traffic to do so. It is a very reliable source of income if you can get traffic to your site or blog but you need to put in a lot of hard work if you want to make a nice sized income.
- Selling ad space on your website or blog is another very reliable source of income. If a company or advertiser purchases a block of space on your site then you receive the money right then and there. But as with adsense you need to have a good amount of traffic before you can make a decent amount of money with ad space. Advertisers aren't going to be interested in a site that only gets a few uniques a day.
Now, this aren't the only ways of making money online but these definitely leave you with a lot of options. For the few people that might be following this blog I am very sorry for not updating as often as I had promised but I do have good news. I am going to be putting a lot more effort into this blog and I'm giving it a fresh new start. I've already started with the theme which I think looks a hell of a lot better than my old one. It's the StudioBlue theme from ElegantThemes.com if you're curious. Ok, so back to the topic of starting fresh with this blog. First let me tell you what I've been doing that has kept me so preoccupied and then I'll tell you how I plan to improve this blog as a source for useful making money online and internet marketing information.
My Internet Marketing Projects
The project that has taken up most of my time for the past two weeks is a niche site that I am in the process of building and monetizing. I won't say which niche yet (I'll tell you why later) but will say that I'm working my ass creating unique content for this website and building it's authority. What I wanted to do going into this project was to build up a niche site and focus solely on the authority of the site rather then market individual products within the niche with simple landing pages. I said to myself, "What the hell is the point of creating different websites/blogs every time I want to promote a product?". And that is how I decided to start a real niche site.
So yeah, this is basically what I have been working on over the past few weeks. I know I've been very vague about the project and what steps I am taking but I will tell you why in just a bit. Before I start rambling some more let's move on to the next subject.
The Improvements To MaxMoneyOnline.net
As I've already mentioned the first step I took in improving MaxMoneyOnline was getting a clean new theme. I think it suits the blog well and it gives me more flexibility in the long run so hopefully it's a win for everybody. Apart from the look of this blog I have many new things in store for it. First, I am going to continue to post information regarding the basics to making money online and internet marketing. Why? Because I want to create fresh new content that newbies are looking for and I want to provide useful information for those who are completely new to the world of making money online. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed by trying to make money online as a newbie and I want to try to help anybody starting out by giving them the basics on this blog. In addition to writing content aimed at newbies I will be making the navigation aspect of my site easier for newbies as well. I have added a page dedicated to archiving articles which I have written about making money online and internet marketing so finding more information on any subject should be a breeze.
Now, this blog is not just aimed at newbies. It's aimed at intermediate internet marketers as well. So in order to improve the content of this blog for the internet marketers out there I will be regularly posting anything I find interesting in the world of making money online, news about internet marketing, or any other tips I feel internet marketers could use. But the way in which I will most improve this blog for internet marketers is by documenting any internet marketing projects I am undertaking or any experiments I am trying out. When I come across an internet marketing blog that offers the person's real experiences then I'll stay a while. Real results provide the most useful information for internet marketers in my opinion and following someone's current campaign is a hell of a lot more interesting then the usual "Tips And Tricks For Success Online Posts".

For example, if your niche was "making money online" then you would need to do a little research as to what this niche is interested in.
2. Think Up Some Generic Keyword Phrases
After identifying your niche and what the niche is interested you will need to think up some generic keyword phrases that are related to your niche's interests. If your niche was "making money online", an example of a generic keyword phrase would be "how to make money online". The idea is that you compile a list of generic keyword phrases that you think people in your niche are using so that you can flesh out more specific phrases later with a keyword research tool. So, what you will want to do is just compile a list of generic keyword phases into a word document. In order to come up with the most profitable keywords you need to try and think like someone who is interested in your niche market. Ask yourself, "If I wanted to make some money online what would I type into Google in order to find information related to making money online?". However, what isn't simple is how you go about the process of selling other people's products. Its one thing to understand the concept of marketing as an affiliate and another to actually take your knowledge and put it to use. This is why I am going to outline the process for you by telling you about some of the steps that go into affiliate marketing. You know, the part where you will actually be marketing.
Find An Affiliate Program
The first step to being an affiliate is to find an actual affiliate program to take part in. There are tons of affiliate programs out there to finding one shouldn't be a problem. But something that you should think about before trying to start marketing a product is what kind of niche you are interested in. Once you have decided what type of niche you would like to work with then you can go ahead and sign up for an affiliate program. If you are curious as to if the niche you are interested in has affiliate programs then simply type a company name or niche followed by affiliate programs into Google. For example, if I were to be interested in being an affiliate in the gaming industry I might type in something like "Video Game Affiliate Programs". See what I mean?
Your other option is to sign up with bigger affiliate networks so that you have the flexibility of choosing from many types of niches containing thousands of products. Some of the most popular affiliate networks are ClickBank, Commission Junction, and PayDotCom. These networks offer a wide variety of products for you to promote and signing up for each one is relatively easy.
Marketing Your Affiliate Products
After finding an affiliate program that you are happy with you will need to actually start promoting whichever product you have chosen. Believe it or not, you will actually be marketing something. So, how do you go about marketing a product online? Well, assuming that you are new to affiliate marketing and internet marketing in general this will mostly be a process of trial and error and learning through experience. And I don't want to go to in depth with marketing methods because this is meant to be the basics of affiliate marketing but I will give you a few of the most popular methods.
The cheapest way for new affiliate marketers to get started is by using a method called Bum Marketing. This is a method of marketing that takes advantage of free resources around the internet in order to drive traffic to your merchant and ultimately make sales. However, it is important to know what you are doing when using free marketing methods before going ahead and using them because you will end up wasting your time if you don't.
